The Center for Countering Disinformation has issued an official warning regarding a large-scale information provocation being prepared by the Russian FSB, details of which are highlighted in the attached image.
According to available information, Russian FSB agents plan to release fabricated "documents" tomorrow, July 5th. These materials will focus on the events of World War II, specifically the Volhynia tragedy. We ask you to share this information, as it is critical for international security. The enemy's main goal is to exploit painful historical topics to drive a wedge between Ukraine and Poland, artificially incite animosity, and sow distrust between Kyiv and Warsaw. For this operation, Russian intelligence services have fabricated a wide range of forged materials, including fake border incident records, military movement logs, communication logs, as well as counterfeit certificates and passports. This campaign operates on the classic "divide and conquer" principle, attempting to weaken Poland's logistical and political support for Ukraine. Since disinformation has become a fully fledged weapon today, the main message to the international community is to thoroughly verify any document "leaks," refuse to be manipulated, spread the truth, and stay united. The Kremlin can easily scale similar hybrid influence operations to other NATO and EU countries, which is why bringing public attention to this situation is of utmost importance.
