Hillary Clinton Epstein deposition ends after ‘waste of our time’ questions on UFOs and ‘Pizzagate’ conspiracy: Live Updates

Hillary Clinton’s closed door deposition about Jeffrey Epstein has ended after she was grilled by lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee for six hours.

During the deposition, which took place in New York, she was questioned about UFOs, the Pizzagate conspiracy and her husband, The New York Times reported.

One Republican, reportedly Rep. Nance Mace, asked the former secretary of state how she felt about former President Bill Clinton allegedly receiving massages from young women, a source familiar with the deposition told CNN.

Although Bill Clinton had a social and professional relationship with Epstein, he has denied wrongdoing and has not been formally charged with any crime associated with Epstein.

Hillary Clinton reportedly responded that she did not want to speculate on matters she wasn’t present for.

Rep. Suhas Subramanyam, a Virginia Democrat, called the deposition a “waste of time,” while Republicans described it as productive.

Thursday’s deposition is part of the committee’s larger inquiry into Epstein. It was briefly paused during the day after Rep. Lauren Boebert released an unauthorized photo of Hillary Clinton to a conservative influencer. Video footage of the proceedings is expected to be released soon, GOP Rep. James Comer said.

Bill Clinton will sit for a recorded deposition Friday.
